This I Believe
Introduction: I wrote this article on June 3rd. I wrote this for showing the what I believe in my life, and we also need to make a video by using this essay.
Reflectio: I think this is a pretty good experience for me to write because when I write this essay, I must think about the value of my life. The thing that supports me to live better in this world. Finally, I found it. You should know "Trying" is very important for every people in this community,
Start "Trying"
In a person’s life, plenty of things will happen. Some of them may hurt you, but
after you have the experiences, you won’t make the mistakes again later. I
believe the first step to success is to try, it doesn’t mean you must insist on
one thing but at least you should try everything that you didn’t know before.
One of the most important people in my life is my father; he taught me the
importance of “Trying”
During primary school when I was 6, my uncle bought me a bike for me to ride. I was
curious, so I tried to learn how to ride it. I took the bike to the small square
in my estate. The bike was bigger than me; I couldn’t even get on. I called one
of my friends to hold the bike while I rode but he was too week to hold it. I
fell and broke my leg. I cried. I cried as I stood up and let my friend help me
to get it back to my home. The medicine stung and I promised that I would never
ride bikes again. When I told my dad what happened, he just said, do it again,
try it again, if you don’t try, you will not be a strong boy in the future. He
wanted to teach me how to ride bikes, but I refused it: “I can’t bear the pain
of falling, I can’t!” This was the first time that I screamed at my dad. But he
just looked at me and after a few second, he said quietly to me: “I won’t let
you fall, I will protect you. If you don’t try, you will never know if you can
do it.” I stared at his eyes, and knew I should trust my
father.
During the weekend, I took my bike outside again with my dad. He
put me on the bike, and held it with his two hands. I held the handlebars while
my dad pushed the bicycle from the back. I felt the wind blow in my face. “I
love this feeling!” I shouted. I started to ride it by myself, I didn’t need
support anymore I was so excited that I could ride a bike
now.
I believe the first step to success is to try, if you don’t try, you will not know what
you can achieve. Trying more things help you learn more about the world. In
middle school, I tried a lot of activities that I’ve never done before; all of
them are pretty good for me. In high school, I tried. I tried to solve different
hard problems in different subjects like some difficult mathematical questions.
I think it is a good experience for me to learn, to put more effort into one
thing. This is I believe.
